We have just arrived à Paris after 24 hours of traveling, delayed / canceled flights, strikes and taxi cabs. At last we are true residents of Le Marais. After a full 17 hours of sleep we are now ready to explore our new surroundings. We discovered the local fromgerie & boulangerie and enjoyed a parisian dinner of bread, cheese, and wine. Après, we explored the area Muffetaurd.
We were happy to find a small bar, Chez Felix where the drink du jour quickly became strawberry mojitos.
The Parisians were friendly and we were at last able to demonstrate our incredible french vocabulary.
After a somewhat restless night (due to the previous 17 hours of sleep) we woke up to enjoy another lovely breakfast of le fromage & baguette. Chelsea H. arrived today and after wondering Le Marais, we met up with her for lunch at Café Moderne, across from the monumental Bastille.

The rest of the day we spent shopping for dinner - which became a combination of our local findings. Asparagues, beets, baguette, fromage, jambon & beaucoup de vin.
After an 11 o'clock dinner (just after sunset) we hit up the closest hot spot for a few beers and coctails before calling it a night.
We believe that the Parisian lifestyle will suit us just fine!
