Clearly the day began with a late start. Breakfast/lunch was un sandwich saumon fumé (smoked salmon) which we highly recommend from our local boulangerie, Miss Manon.

We were lucky enough to have a Parisian friend show us some 'good to know' spots in the area. It was great to learn a bit of history de Paris at the Musée Carnavalet (23 rue de Sévigné 75003)- which is free and open to the public. The prestigious Place de Vosges was a fun spot to browse galleries and window shop. After, we lounged in the sunny park in the center of the square. It was extremely crowded but that only added to the atmosphere of the beautiful Saturday afternoon. We decided it was time for a peaceful night at home, making dinner and recapping the last few days.
